Group chat app GroupMe is out Tuesday with a bevy of updates to its iPhone and Android offerings, like spot- and picture-sharing.

GroupMe launched to significantly buzz back in October as a way to simply produce an instantaneous SMS chatroom on 1’s telephone. The app’s appeal was in its simplicity — one particular could use the app to begin a private chat with teams of buddies, even individuals sans smartphones.
